Elizabeth von Habsburg
Elizabeth brings 28 years of experience in the art world to Winston Art Group. Before joining Winston, she was President of the US operations for another art advisory and appraisal firm where she worked for 18 years. Prior to that, she was Vice President and Director of the Estates and Appraisals department of Habsburg Fine Art Auctioneers, and she started her career as Assistant Vice President in charge of the Appraisal department at Christie’s New York. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Arts from Stanford University and a Masters of Art from Columbia University. Elizabeth is on the Boards of The Appraisers Association of America and The Appraisal Foundation; a Fellow of the Pierpont Morgan Library; a Member of ArtTable; and on an advisory committee of the Museum of Art & Design. She has recently co-written a chapter of “Fine Art & High Finance,” published by Bloomberg Press in 2009, and she edited the “Antique Hunters Guides to Pottery and Porcelain, Furniture, and Silver and Pewter” for BlackDog Publications in 2000-2001. She is a qualified expert witness, and lectures on Fine and Decorative art.
